Strategy for the freshman

If you are here at this site, it is because I purposely wrote this blog address on a piece of written communication. I only notified you of this special address if you are among those favorable to Tea Party values. Your mainstream Republicans and all Democrats did not get the invitation to this blog. If you click on my profile, you will notice that this blog is not listed among the other blogs I author. I guess you could say that I'm traveling under the radar. As a fervent Tea Party supporter (I was there way before day one), I feel that I must communicate the following:

In a phone conversation I had on a few weeks ago, I laid out a brilliant Tea Party strategy to Ralph King, our local coordinator. I urged him to move this strategy up the chain to the leadership. I hope you are reading this Mrs. Bachman. Since I don't want to play the power struggle game within the Tea Party itself, I am going straight to the Hill with this.

If you doubt my Tea Party mind, please visit me at www.fishyspeech.blogspot.com. I think you will find a lucid rant there.

Here is the strategy:

As a freshman in congress, all of America assumes that you will be voting against raising the debt ceiling. The freshman class is considered to be Tea Party friendly. Of course you will be voting against raising the debt ceiling. Don't ever let anyone think you may not. You were voted in because everyday Americans are fed up with the out of control spending. FED UP! You, as a caucus, represent that palpable rage. However, as  a group, you also represent the conscience of America. People like Steve Cohen do not! So what to do?

You stand firm on that NO vote. You are a defiant fist ... pounding the table ... saying, "stop the spending." Now, if I may have a word with Michelle Bachman ... Behind closed doors, you assure Mr. Boehner that the Tea Party freshman will, as a voting block, flip the vote as a matter of conscience. America will not default on it's debt. With those assurances, Mr. Boehner can give political cover to any Republican that may be vulnerable in the next election. The media will try to have a field day, saying that the Tea Party sold out its base ... blah, blah, blah. It would be great political theater .... and it will galvanize the power center of the freshman. Forging no votes with the mainstream Republicans (with Tea Party assurances) will squeeze the Left into a box. Goolsby will be chattering his head off in panic. Geithner will be crapping his pants. The Left will try to demonize the Right. They will call them out as irresponsible. Big concessions can be gained from the left as they stare down the barrel of a .... oops ... don't want to be politically incorrect. Let me just say that we must make the left "run the gauntlet." I would even suggest that several votes take place ahead of the witching hour. Demonstrate your NO vote power for a few votes. Then initiate a coordinated flip once acceptable concessions have been made. I feel that this is the best strategy for dealing with the debt ceiling. Now I realize that this strategy is risky. I also realize that there are ways to work around the debt ceiling once it is reached. There are ways to fund basic services even as Harry Reid forces the shutdown.

I also feel quite passionate about auditing the Federal Reserve. In fact, there should be an audit for the whole gambit of recent government spending. I believe that the stimulus money has actually been STOLEN.  I am still wondering where it all went. WHERE DID IT GO?

There should be more investigations of fraud in the federal government.

I also believe that Social Security should be privatized. Citizens should have a say over how there SSI deductions are invested. I believe every citizen should be able to opt out of the system completely.

As far as Golf To The Core goes ... I am planning on putting together a seminar for the D.C. area. I would be willing to do a special night for members of congress. I'll give you a discount if you invite a Democrat :~}. If anyone can suggest a good venue for the workshop, I would appreciate your input. Feel free to call me. My number is on the card and my cell is fully charged.

Bringing a Democrat to the seminar would be an excellent way to sell your firmness in your NO vote on the debt ceiling. As your seminar leader, I will allow some of my Tea Party colors to show through. And trust me, I will sell it too. I am willing to pull some George Washington maneuvers and let on to the opposition that "I am one of many Tea Party strong in town here to hold the freshman's feet to the fire ... and not let them be swayed to vote for increasing the debt ceiling." I may even go so far as to say that unless Obamacare is fully repealed ...WE WILL GUARANTEE DEFAULT! This is probably asking too much ... but, this could be used as leverage to get the Senate to go on the record. We might be able to pick off a few Nervous Nelly Democrats and get the thing to the Presidents desk. Forcing Obama to pick up the veto pen is huge! ... in my humble opinion. All we need is for a large (unanimous would be great) majority of mainstream Republicans to hold the line on the NO vote ...

Thank you for listening. Again feel free to call me. I would be more than willing to have a face to face discussion with any Republican, freshman or otherwise.
